Kaya von Kirsa is a gorgeous 12 month old Husky mix on the smaller side - maybe 45 pounds.  Kaya has everything on the most discerning adopter’s checklist: good looks, spunk, sweetness, intelligence and loyalty.  She walks like a show dog on leash and meets both human and doggie friends with her winning smile and wag of her tail.  Kaya is high energy and assures us that there will not be a dull moment with her.  She would love to be part of an active family who will take her on long walks and hikes, but also has a calm, loving side that makes her a great candidate for cuddling on cold, winter days (looking at you out-of-staters!).  Kaya just loves to sit next to her favorite person and soak up the attention.  Kaya scored top marks in playgroup, where she gets along with dogs of different personalities.  She likes to run around, stretching her legs and inviting the other pups to play.  Her easy-going and lively nature makes her an ideal dog for anyone living out of state or locally with another playful dog.  She hopes that the next application lists her name in the “dogs you want to meet” section, because she cannot wait to meet you.
